Orders & Shipping
How long does order processing take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. During collection launches or holiday periods, processing may take up to 5 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order ships.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — we offer free standard shipping on all orders over R1,425 within South Africa. For orders under R1,425, a flat rate shipping fee applies at checkout. See our Shipping page for full details.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within South Africa. International shipping is something we're exploring for the future. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when we expand.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number and link. You can also check your order status by contacting us at hello@theinneredit.co.za with your order number.
Products
What materials are your candles made from?
Our candles are hand-poured using 100% natural soy wax with cotton wicks. We use premium fragrance oils that are phthalate-free and carefully blended for a clean, even burn. Each candle is made in small batches.
How do I care for my candle?
For the best experience: trim the wick to 5mm before each burn, allow the wax to melt to the edges on the first burn (about 2–3 hours), and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep away from drafts and always place on a heat-resistant surface.
What metals are used in your jewelry?
Our jewelry is crafted from sterling silver and hand-worked brass. All pieces are nickel-free and hypoallergenic. We recommend storing jewelry in a cool, dry place and avoiding contact with water, perfumes, and lotions.
How should I care for my jewelry?
Gently polish with a soft cloth to maintain shine. Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising. Store pieces individually in the pouch provided to prevent scratching. For brass pieces, a light polish with a jewelry cloth will restore the original lustre.
What about your apparel sizing?
Our organic cotton tees are designed with a relaxed, slightly oversized fit. We recommend ordering your usual size for a comfortable, laid-back look. A detailed size guide is available on each product page.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy on unused, unworn items in their original packaging. Candles that have been lit cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. See our Returns page for the full policy.
How do I initiate a return?
Email us at hello@theinneredit.co.za with your order number and reason for return. We'll send you a return authorisation and instructions within 24–48 hours.
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive your returned item, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund has been processed.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes — complimentary gift wrapping is available at checkout. Each gift is wrapped in our signature tissue paper with a hand-written note card. Simply select the gift wrapping option and include your message during checkout.
Can I subscribe to your newsletter?
Absolutely. The Editor's Note is our monthly newsletter featuring reflections, early access to new collections, and curated rituals. We send it once a month — no spam, just thoughtful notes.
